Create The New World

Thousands of people are already building a better world. Most of them are doing it alone.

Post what your project needs, or offer what you have: time, ideas, space, materials, knowledge or funding. Here they find each other.

A place where drops become the ocean.

The problem

Thousands of people all over the world are working to make it better. Many of them do it alone, or in small local groups.

Create The New World exists so those projects don't have to stop there. Publish your project, say what you need (volunteers, funding, knowledge, materials, space) and find who can offer it, wherever they are.

Every week projects stall for want of a hand that already existed two streets away.

Ask for it, or offer it

How it works

Three steps

  1. 1

    Create your drop

One minute. Who you are and what matters to you.

  2. 2

Say what you can give, or what you need

    That's what makes you findable.

  3. 3

    Write and start

    No middlemen, no fees.

The story behind it

Erik-Jan travelled through Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.

Everywhere the same scene kept repeating: doors opening, tables making room, people offering their time before anyone asked.

That is why he is certain the people who improve the world already exist, everywhere.

The idea has had a name since 2019: Create The New World.

What we believe

“We are only as strong as our weakest foundations.”

Strengthening them strengthens everyone. Not as charity, but as wisdom.

“No one sees the whole picture alone.”

Every perspective reveals a part. Together we see further.

“Almost everything the world needs already exists.”

It only has to be brought together. We only have to come together, and build a better future for this planet.

What counts as value

A drop can be almost anything: an idea, an hour of your time, a skill, a spare room, some money.

You don't need a project or a title. If you're curious and want to help, that's enough to start.

A single drop does not form the ocean. And yet, without each drop, the ocean would not exist.

The future is not something we wait for. Together, drop by drop, we create it.
